The Spitfires return to the Silverlake Stadium to host Barnet in their latest Vanarama National League clash on Tuesday 15th August, with a kick-off time of 7:45pm.
Eastleigh:
The hosts are still looking for their first win of the season, having been left frustrated in front of goal in a 0-0 draw against Wealdstone at the weekend.
Both sides created enough chances to win the game and summer signing Chris Maguire even had the ball in the back of the net, but his goal was disallowed for offside.
A string of impressive saves from goalkeeper Joe McDonnell throughout the game helped to preserve a point for the Spitfires.
The Wealdstone result secured the Spitfires their second point of the season, having started their campaign with a 1-1 draw away to Solihull Moors.
Barnet:
Having suffered heartache in the play-offs at the hands of Boreham Wood last season, Dean Brennan’s side are determined to go a step further this season.
The Bees have started the season in style, maintaining a 100% winning record from their opening two fixtures.
In their first game against Hartlepool, Barnet raced out to a 3-0 lead, with goals from Adebola Oluwo, Nicke Kabamba and Danny Collinge putting the hosts in a seemingly commanding position.
However, late goals from Jake Hastie and Josh Umerah made for a nervier finish than expected, but the Bees did enough for the three points.
They followed up their win over Hartlepool with an impressive 2-0 win at Bromley, with Collinge and Kabamba getting on the scoresheet once again.

Barnet have enjoyed recent meetings between the two teams, having won three straight games against Eastleigh.
The last meeting between the two clubs was back in January, when the north London side ran out 2-0 winners at the Silverlake Stadium, with the goals coming from Ryan De Havilland and Ben Wynter.
The Spitfires also fell to a 3-1 loss away to Barnet last season, where a late consolation goal for Eastleigh from Callum Ebanks wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit on the day.
