Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of left-back, Ryan Clampin, following his departure from Colchester United.

Born in Colchester, Ryan started his youth career at his boyhood club, spending nine years at Colchester United since the age of seven.

In 2017, Clampin joined Maldon & Tiptree on loan where he went on to make 33 appearances and scored 9 goals, three of which came in the form of a first-half hat-trick in a 5-2 win against Brentwood Town.

The next season, Clampin made his professional debut in the EFL Trophy as a substitute in Colchester’s fixture against Southampton U21s.

In 2019, the wing-back made his full League Two debut in a match against Cambridge United.

On January 27th 2023, Clampin joined Dundee FC on loan until the end of the season where he made his debut the next day and secured an assist in a 3-0 win over league leaders, Queen’s Park. Dundee FC went on to win the Scottish Championship at the end of the season.
