Since then, he has been on loan at Walsall, Newport County, and Scunthorpe United.

His most recent club was Yeovil Town.

Upon joining the Spitfires, Scrimshaw said:

‘I’m excited to join the club. I’ve played here before and my time was cut short due to COVID-19 so it’ll be good to be back. I want to try and help the club get into the playoffs.’

Manager Lee Bradbury is excited to have him here, adding:

‘He’s been training with us for a few weeks now and I believe that he will add quality in that area of the pitch so we’re delighted to have him.

Hopefully, it’ll bring more competition in the squad with places up for grabs.’
