Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of forward, Alfie Lloyd, on a short-term loan from Queens Park Rangers.
The 19-year-old began his journey at Yeovil Town U18s where he was rated highly and proved to be highly prolific.
He had been nominated for LFE’s Goal of The Month on two occasions with two quality finishes during his time at Yeovil Town.
In November 2020, Alfie was rewarded for his fine youth form with a first-team appearance against Hartlepool in the National League at only 17 years old.
In 2021, QPR secured the services of the youngster after they penned him to a three-year professional contract with The Hoops.
Upon joining the Spitfires, Alfie said:
“I’m feeling great. I’m feeling positive. It all happened very quickly but I feel like this is a good environment and opportunity for me to gain some valuable experience.”
Alfie only had good things to say when asked about how his first training session with the team went.
“The boys were really good with me and the gaffer as well so I was made to feel very welcome and now I’m looking forward to getting started.
