Luke Hardy’s Elite Development Squad travelled to Dartford for their second game of the season in their defence of the National Academy League – Division South title.
The young Spitfires stepped out at Princes Park with a resilient and disciplined performance in a competitive game in tough conditions.
Goalkeeper Lewis Mees kept a clean sheet as Dylan Walker popped up with the only goal of the game before half time to ensure that Eastleigh returned to Hampshire with three points.

Andy Darnton’s Second Year Scholars, fresh from their victory in the FA Youth Cup, hosted Basingstoke Town at the Stoneham Lane Football Complex.
In a tight contest, goals from Malachi Dotse and Leo Downing helped take the game all the way to penalties.
Midfielder, Ollie Erdinc, stepped up to convert the winning spot kick.
The First Year Scholars also enjoyed a safe passage to the next round with a victory over Hampshire rivals Havant & Waterlooville.
Lewis Colvin scored the only goal of the game at Westleigh Park, heading home at the far post after a well worked corner routine.
