Eastleigh in the Community Women have announced five exciting new signings ahead of the 2022/23 Southern Region Women’s Premier season.

Rafa Citron has bolstered his squad with five new faces that have added to the 11 first team players that have been retained from the 2021/22 season.

In a statement move, the Spitfires have secured the signing of experienced striker, Sheree Bell-Jack, who has joined after four seasons at promotion-winners Moneyfields.

Sheree has scored over 100 goals in 100 games over the last seven years of her career spent with New Forest Ladies, Southampton Women’s FC, and Moneyfields.

In addition, four exciting, young prospects have signed on for 2022/23 having all had experience with higher-division clubs in recent seasons.

Grace Laidlaw joins the Spitfires after previously spending time with Portsmouth, whilst Lucy Coalter arrives having previously been with AFC Bournemouth.

Adding to the Spitfires goalkeeping union is Sarah Kelsall, who joins having been with Southampton Women’s FC.

Lani Dickinson is the fifth summer signing for the Spitfires, having played for Swindon as well as heading across the pond for a spell in America.

The Spitfires will kick-off the new season with an opening day trip to Bournemouth Sports Women on Sunday, 4th September.
