Wrexham:
The Dragons will be looking to try and secure promotion this season after they missed out in the 2021/22 campaign following a 5-4 defeat to Grimsby Town in the semi-final of the Vanarama National League play-offs.
They have made eight signings over the summer so far with Elliot Lee, Jordan Tunnicliffe, Anthony Forde and Sam Dalby to name a few of the new faces to the camp.
The hosts have won two of four pre-season friendlies with a 5-2 win over Nantwich Town and a 4-0 win over Macclesfield Town.
Eastleigh:
The Spitfires will be looking to get off to a good start to the new season after what was an underwhelming 2021/22 campaign.
Eastleigh has made plenty of signings themselves with ten players putting pen to paper over the summer.
The visitors had a positive pre-season after playing seven games, winning five, drawing one and losing one.
Previous Meetings:
There have been nine meetings between the two sides in the last four years, as both clubs also met in the 2018/19 play-off semi-finals.
Eastleigh last beat Wrexham in that play-off semi-final but their last league win against them came back in a 3-2 victory back in 2015.
