Eastleigh return to the Silverlake Stadium as they face Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday, 16th August, with a 7:45pm kick-off. Preview in association with Unibet.

Eastleigh bounced back from an opening day defeat at Wrexham with a 1-0 win over Wealdstone at the Silverlake Stadium last Saturday.

Tristan Abrahams netted the only goal of the game to secure all three points for the hosts.

New signing John Oyenuga impressed on his league debut for the club, having signed earlier in the week, following a successful trial period with the Spitfires.

Lee Bradbury’s side will be hoping to build on their home success against Wealdstone and make the Silverlake Stadium a fortress this season.

Dagenham & Redbridge:

The visitors travel to Hampshire still searching for their first win of the new campaign, having taken just one point from a possible six so far this season.

In the opening game of the season, Dagenham fought back to rescue a point at home to newly promoted Gateshead.

The Daggers were two goals down early on, but Paul McCallum halved the deficit before half time and Junior Morias equalised in second half stoppage time to restore parity.

Daryl McMahon’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Woking last weekend, with first half goals from Reece Grego-Cox and Rohan Ince securing all three points for the Cardinals.

Previous Meetings:

The two teams have been evenly matched in their last five meetings, with both sides recording two wins each and the other game ending in a draw.

Last season, Eastleigh won 1-0 at the Chigwell Construction Stadium, thanks to a solitary goal from Danny Whitehall.

Dagenham gained revenge for that defeat when they visited the Silverlake Stadium in March, with ex-Spitfires striker Paul McCallum scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for the visitors.
