Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of defensive midfielder, Ousseynou Cissè, on a permanent deal.
The 31-year-old Mali international becomes the Spitfires’ fourth summer signing following his departure from Oldham Athletic
Cissè brings a wealth of Football League experience to the Silverlake Stadium, having featured over 100 times across spells with MK Dons, Gillingham, and Leyton Orient since his arrival in the UK in 2017.
He rose through the youth ranks at PSG and Amiens, beginning his career with the latter, as he has also played for the likes of Dijon and Rayo Vallecano on the continent.
Speaking on his arrival, Ousseynou Cissè said:
“I was really impressed when I came to the stadium and spoke with the manager, I had a good feeling and I’m happy to be here.
“I’ve been in League One and League Two, I’ve been promoted and relegated while in England, so I know what you need to do to have a good season so I’m going to try and give my best and see where we end up.”
Ousseynou Cissè will officially join the Spitfires on the 1st July, subject to FA and National League approval.
