Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of right-back, Lee Hodsonfollowing his departure from Kilmarnock.

The defender started his youth career at Boreham Wood before moving to Watford, where he came through the ranks and broke into the first team. The 31-year-old made 83 senior appearances for the Hornets and scored once in his nine-year spell with the Hertfordshire side. 

The Northern Ireland international then made the switch to League One club MK Dons, in 2013, where he stayed for three years and made 40 appearances for the club.

The defender then made the move over the broader to Scottish Premiership side Rangers in 2016, the same year he was selected for Northern Ireland for the European Championships, in France. 

The defender then moved back to England, in 2019, where he joined League One outfit Gillingham before heading back to the Scotland with Kilmarnock two years later.

Hodson has also experienced a handful of loans through his career at; Brentford, Kilmarnock, St Mirren, Hamilton Academical and Partick Thistle. 

The defender represented Northern Ireland at Under 19 and 21 level before making his full international debut against Morocco in November 2010. Hodson would go on and represent his country 24 times, in total. 

The deal is subject to international clearance, National League and FA approval.
